I very rarely leave reviews but we just had the best experience at Can dende! The staff were amazing and so welcoming, the food was unreal we decided to return the following day to try out more of the menu and we were even more impressed. Definitely worth the visit! The bagel with scrambled egg cream cheese and bacon was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten.
Amazing brunch and drinks! Can't recommend it enough, it was one of the highlights of our trip to Barcelona! The staff are super friendly and helpful, would recommend getting there early as there's always a queue 😊
Mmmm Mmm! Lucky to have found this between Hotel/Metro & loved it. The pulled pork eggs benedict was just fantastic! So good we were waiting at the door the following day. Brilliant staff were helpful & friendly. We give it our fullest recommendation.
Can Dende is amazing. Everything about it is wonderful. The location, the staff, the design, the food, down to the lovely mural of the dog on the wall. We walked there from our hotel which was a long eleven blocks but so well worth it. I opted for the savory pancakes with bacon and it was delicious. Brilliant idea putting scrambled eggs in between each pancake, loved it. I enjoyed being able to watch the kitchen staff cook right out there in the open and seeing the owner (I think) pulling ingredients off a well stocked shelf situated where everyone is eating in the front of house. Being able to write on the placemats was a nice touch as well. I left them with a message "Best breakfast ever!" We are heading back to Barcelona in a few days and plan 100% to eat there again.

Perfect Sunday brunch in Barcelona. We turned up five minutes before they opened and there was already a crowd gathered, waiting eagerly for them to open. My daughter and I both went for the pancakes, an ice tea for my daughter and a mimosa for me! I loved the pancakes but also wished I ordered the eggs with pulled pork. Fab service and a great way to start the day in Barcelona ��

Abbiamo incrociato questo locale mentre andavamo a prendere la metro e ce ne siamo innamorate! Buonissime le uova alla benedettina col salmone, le spremute e pancakes. Arredato con gusto nei minimi dettagli, tavolini al sole e clientela giovane e allegra, è un posto consigliatissimo per chiunque alloggi in zona Llacuna.

Small little spot found thanks to my fellow Yelpers. Trendy, cute little spot serving up delicious food. I ordered the savory pancakes, they were delicious. The batter was fluffy on the inside with a golden crisp on the outside, topped with over easy eggs and arugula. Hubby had the salmon bagel shown in the picture. And my coffee was perfectly prepared.

First time in Barcelona and no matter what time I wake up (today it was 1:30pm due to the time difference, lol), I always want a good breakfast/brunch. Well, I opened up Yelp and the first place to come up was Can Dendê. I couldn't even get to any other options because everything looked so good and the reviews were so positive! So, I had to try it out. It went way beyond my expectations.
First, we ordered the fried green tomatoes. The salsa alone was incredible! Along with the cheese and the tomatoes, it was sublime and hands down the best fried green tomato I have ever tasted!
Next, I had the savory pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon. I was surprised that all the ingredients were combined together! Topped with arugula and creme fresh mixed within, I poured over some maple syrup and that's all she wrote...heavenly!
We also got the Eggs Benedict and again, the fresh ingredients stood out and came through, especially the potatoes. We finished it off with their pink lemonade and a Bloody Mary and I can't say enough of this experience. I will be eating here again before my trip ends...thank you, Can Dendê!!!

If you're in Barcelona you must check this place out for brunch. The service is amazing and each dish was exquisite. We had the French toast, eggs Benedict with pulled pork, English muffin and bagel sandwich. I'm not sure which one was best. Their drinks are delicious too. Their cafe con leche is like a cappuccino and their orange juice is fresh. Definitely recommend.
Can Dendê is spectacularly good! I came here 3 times while in Barcelona. Everything is fresh and very original. The baristas are superb, mixing delicious drinks and coffees with a lot of flare. The food is scrumptious. I went for the simple pancakes with fruit and 2 fried eggs - both are great - and then finished it off with an amazing cappuccino. The sangria and other drinks are also incredible. I will miss this place when I leave!
Great brunch spot. Dende iced tea hit the spot, as did the fried green tomato dish, salsa was great. Also really enjoyed the benedict with ricotta, asked for ruffles fries instead of roast potatos.

Have a coffee outside it's so nice. We bring friends and family here when they come to visit us! They have lovely dishes. We have been back several times and it never disappoints. We like to try and go once a week! The caprese (my favorite!) fried chicken sandwich, savory pork pancakes and french toast were awesome!
Arrived early on our trip to Barcelona and yelped places to grab brunch. Immediately Can Dendê came up as the closest restaurant. We decided to walk from our hotel & it was definitely worth the wait! The restaurant is small & cozy so they had a bit of a wait but the food was incredible! The hostess kept us informed of our turn in the line & once we sat down to eat, our food was brought out fast. So happy I found this little gem. My husband and I got omelettes with salad and shared the hand cut fries and plank cakes! They were truly divine. Highly recommended for fresh food with amazing taste. The staff is very warm and welcoming which just makes the experience worth the wait.

Como siempre Can Dende no decepciona! Toda la comida buenísima! Los tomates verdes fritos muy buenos y los pancakes muy esponjosos. Los huevos benedict también son siempre un acierto. Disponer de la opción con o sin alcohol de los cócteles es otro gran acierto. Lo único que se ha de ir temprano, ya que es un lugar pequeño y siempre hay bastante gente, pero en general en 30 min te atienden. 👍
