Loved this place. Had overlooked it in the past but was recommended. Did not disappoint. Amazing food and really lovely people. Think it will be one of our regular haunts. Fantastic.
Fantastic place! Would highly recommend the Sunday lunch! Have to book a table though as it gets really busy! Steak is to die for and the duck is a dream! Lovely couple, lovely food and always take family when they over on holiday! Give it a go! You won´t be disappointed!
Wow! Just wow! My husband and I went to the restaurant for his birthday! It was outstanding food, service and ambiance! We started with pre drinks at the cosy bar. We were then shown to our table situated in front of the chef in the kitchen. We ordered top mushrooms and king prawn and mushrooms in garlic butter, both were stunning! Once cleared we were presented with our mains, orange duck for him and fillet steak rare for me! I can't even explain how amazing these were. The veg were cooked to perfection and the dauphinois were the best we've ever tasted! At this time we thought the night was over so decided to order the bill, before we had chance the music changed and the owners and staff presented us with a nickerbocker glory with a candle and all sung happy birthday! Brilliant night guys, thank you so much we will be back x

Fantastic meal on tuesday. Food is outstanding and all cooked fresh. Dont come expecting a quick microwave dinner. Its all done from scratch and more than worth the wait on there busier nights. Cant wait to come back

It opened 15 years ago. Food is always amazing. Carl and Shelley are lovely people. Nothing is too much trouble. Best Fillet Steak anywhere. All his food is great. Can't really pick a favourite dish. Go there. Try it and you will keep going back like us

We dined yesterday at The Restaurant for Sunday lunch; where do I start?Shelley and Carl are the nicest people, always with a ready smile and genuinely concerned that their guests are having a great time. The food is always prepared fresh, served piping hot and is as mouth wateringly tasty as it is plentiful. It is without doubt my favourite restaurant on the coast, and I have not visited once where I have left either disappointed or hungry! If you live here and haven't tried it you are missing out.
