Just returned from Luz y mar,(Billy's bar)excellent week apartments spot on pool great, Billy's bar brilliant.Staff excellent Friday barbeque is a must,probably the best steak we had all week,even in the so called best restaurants.Honestly can't fault the place.Bit of a hill so what get a taxi.

Can’t fault anything about this bar, great food, great daiquiris, great staff! Nothing was too much trouble Tracey even opened up early to do breakfast for my daughter as they had an early flight.
Great atmosphere really nice people had a really good week, food spot on would highly recommend if you want a relax by the pool a nice bite to eat �
Spent 10 days at Luzymar and was a regular for breakfast at Billy's pool bar, we also attended their Friday night BBQ which was amazing. The staff were really friendly and attentive and nothing was any bother for them, special thankyou to the young ones, Billy Charlie Brad and Bobbie who helped make the holiday lots of fun too! See you again folks x

We've just come back from a weeks stay.. great holiday again. Billys bar nothing a bother good banter good food what ever you want they would try and provide. Looked after me with rum ice to help a chest infection. Would highly recommend a visit. Shame young Billy and Charlie were mags but we all can't be perfect.. Hope to see you all next year xx

I live here on Lanzarote. They are my neighbours and my best friends. Love them all at Billy's pool bar.! What more can I say? It's my second home and my favourite place. Such lovely mates and wouldn't be without them. Love them to bit's Lol xxxx

Me and four friends stayed at Luz y mar apartments at the end of June, the main reason we booked this accomodation was because of Billy's bar's great reviews and we were not disappointed! The staff are fantastic and they made our holiday very special! We had a full English breakfast every morning and lunch followed by drinks each evening in the bar. The BBQ on the Friday was brilliant, great food and entertainment! On our final night Billy did a quiz for me and my friends which was so much fun, we had to jump in the pool if we got an answer wrong or drink a shot if we got the answer correct! Thank you to all the staff Billy, Tracey, Bobby, Billy, Brad and not forgetting the little crazy guy Charlie! We will hopefully see you all soon!
Great pool bar run by very friendly people tracy, billy and bobby....tasty food and a wide choice on the menu.....try this place out you will not be disappointed...lovely sun trap.....sun all day around the pool...will be back for sure

Wow. What a fantastic family bar. Billy, Tracey and Bobby Thank you all so much for all your hospitality and information, you guys made our holiday!!! Even taking your precious time to drive us to Playa Blanca and showing us the some of your beautiful island of Lanzerote finishing the day off in one of you favourite restaurants. You really are amazing people. Your bar was essential to our holiday...cheap drinks and lovely food. Although I don't think I could complete your burger challenge...it's was great fun watching other's try it (and fail!) My personal favourite 'Friday night's BBQ and quiz night...what an atmosphere!!! Can't wait to see you all in September!!!!
Tracy, Billy and all the boys are brilliant they’ve made our stay last week fantastic, so friendly and I would highly recommend the barbecue on Friday nights it’s a right scream and lots of free shots with fab food, thanks so much everyone and hopefully see you very soon again ���

Got to give this bar the 5 stars as its a great little bar and with the heat the last few days having a bar right to a nice cold pool is perfect. But yes there is a but! I went on Tuesday and there was a young girl and young lad working (well the girl was working) the guy didn't really do much tbh. Feel sorry for the young girl as she was running around serving everyone and also cooking while the lad was either stood behind the bar on his phone or outside the bar smoking. If I was the owner I would've sacked him already. Will definitely be coming back to this bar but not when this guy was working. (I asked to talk to the manager about him but was told he was away to another island for the day with his family)
We've been here a few times as we have stayed at Luz y Mar quite a bit. Its a pool bar serving the apartments really but anyone is welcome to drop in for a bite. Food is decent and reasonably priced. Milkshakes are really good and the breakfast is top too.
Kathy the new owner is lovely along with the staff. Make you feel very much at home.

Always a welcoming smile, accompanied by home cooking and washed down with a drink or several! Take a costume for that lovely pool swim, don't forget your towel and sun cream.
Great wee bar, does good beer for €2 and nice food at a very reasonable price.
