I have dined at the various Pizzaria 222 restaurants as long as I can remember and I have always found the service impecable and extremely friendly. I was pleased to hear of the new restaurant opening in Catral and went along to see it. Lovely decor, very modern and, of course, Giovanni the owner always on hand to make you feel welcome. As far as the food is concerned my favourites are the garlic and tomato pizza bread, the massive, generously topped, pizzas with fresh ingredients prepared to order and served piping hot and the pasta dishes which are amazing, prepared with authentic Italian flavours.I'm not really a meat eater so I can't comment but I'm sure that all the meat dishes are prepared and cooked to the customers' satisfaction.Every meal I have tried over the past 15 years has never fallen short of perfection.Ok ,there must be the odd occasion to complain but that will happen even the finest restaurants but I can tell you that Giovanni and his staff will bend over backwards to correct any mistake and make sure that you come back for another visit .His motto is ''the customer is always right'' Any indiscrepancies and tardiness by the staff will not be tolerated as Giovanni aims to provide the best service possible.I for one wish him and his staff all the very best wishes for his new restaurant in Catral and you can be sure that I will be a regular visitor when I'm in the area on the Costa Blanca.Good luck to you all.
