Tabanco Plateros is dead. Long live Tabanco Plateros!
A new location for an old favourite. The new venue is much the same as the old one with all the same charm, warmth and simple elegance. The new menu has all of the classics that have made it so great over the last five years plus some really interesting new additions such as anchovies from Cantabria, tinned preserves from Portugal and newly sourced signature local wines.
As always our favourite meeting place manages to be faithful to the tradition of the tabancos Jerezanos while remaining open to new ideas for what a local bar should be and what its customers might enjoy.
In the end what makes this place great and what will continue to draw people to it, no matter where it is located, are the people who run it. Jaime, Luz, Marina, David, Antonio, Ezekiel et al. They are the the reason we love it.
